Amazing mini Nutella cheesecake that is rich, creamy, sweet, and easy to make.

Nutella cheesecake—one of the most iconic and popular Nigella Lawson’s recipe—is one of the most popular recipes on Rasa Malaysia.

Ever since my contributor CP Choong shared her Nutella Cheesecake recipe here, we have gotten so many comments on successful attempts and questions about the recipe.

One of the questions is whether or not we can adapt the recipe into a mini-sized Nutella Cheesecake, especially made for special occasions like parties, etc.

So I asked my contributor to adapt the recipe and make it into mini Nutella Cheesecake, and I am so glad that she did.

Just look at these gorgeous food porn, don’t you just want to eat them right off the monitor?

Closed up easy no bake Nutella cheesecake in mini cupcake size topped with crunchy toasted hazelnuts.

My 3-year old has recently acquired a liking of Nutella and this makes a very toddler (especially picky eater) friendly dessert.

Nutella is choked full of hazelnut which is great, and cheese is generally nutritious for kids.

Of course, you don’t feed your kids this type of dessert every day but once in a while, I think it’s fine.

You can feel free to adjust the level of sugar to your liking so it’s not overly sweet as we all know too much sugar kills.

Anyway, this mini Nutella Cheesecake is utterly sinful, delicious, and decadent.

I only wished that my contributor lives closer so I could taste her creations.

However, this is a super easy recipe to make because there is no baking involved, you just mix all the ingredients together, chill them and you have the most delicious cheesecake EVER!

Try this mini Nutella Cheesecake recipe, indulge and enjoy.

Equipment

  • 2 12 spot mini cheesecake pan

Ingredients

  • 10 oz (300g) graham crackers
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, soft
  • 13 oz (400g) Nutella, at room temperature
  • ¾ cup toasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 lb (500g) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • ½ cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • Whipped Cream

Instructions

  • Break the graham cracker into the bowl of a processor, add the butter and 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Nutella, and blitz until it starts to clump. Add 25 g (1 oz) / 3 tablespoons of the hazelnuts and continue to pulse until you achieve a damp, sandy mixture.
  • Lightly grease the mini cheesecake pan. Scoop a heaping tablespoon of the crumbs into each cup and press them into the base using your hands or the back of a spoon. Place the pan in the fridge to chill.
  • Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, then add the remaining Nutella to the cream cheese mixture and continue beating until well combined.
  • Remove the mini cheesecake pans from the fridge and carefully smooth the Nutella mixture over the bases, filling each cup about two-thirds full. Place the pans back in the fridge for at least four hours or overnight. For best results, serve straight from the fridge.
  • Add a dollop of whipped cream on top and garnish with the remaining chopped hazelnuts.

Notes

I used 12 mini Cheesecake Pan, 1.5”/4.5cm deep X 2”/5cm diameter cups. You may use Muffins pan, lined with cupcake casing for easy removal.

  2. Lynn says:

Bee, I could only find Honey Graham Crackers at FairPrice, couldn’t find any at other supermarkets…

    1. Is the honey version ok?
    2. If so, do I omit the powdered sugar?
    3. Is powdered sugar = icing sugar?

    Looking forward to your reply.

  3. t1na says:

Cheesecake and Nutella?? I know my roommate will love me now :)

  4. Felicia Dee says:

I’m making these for a school project and was wondering if 2 1/2 hours would be enough time for the mini nutella cheescakes to set completely? Also are you able to remove them easily without cupcake liners?

  5. mindy says:

It depresses me so much to see you raving Nutella. It has to be one of the single GROSSest products on the market. Nothing but sugar sugar sugar cornsyrup, fake shortening, cornsyrup, chemicals. What is so difficult about making REAL hazelnut paste- grinding toasted hazelnuts to a paste and adding sugar to taste? So much for a healthier next generation……

    1. Rasa Malaysia says:

Mindy – I actually like Nutella just like many people do, but of course, everything that is made from scratch will be the best. Perhaps I need to attempt the nutella recipe soon! :)

    2. nutella says:

what’s wrong with raving Nutella?not everyone has the time and passion like you to make REAL hazelnut paste. The trick here is to consume it moderately. Then it wouldnt have to be the single GROSSest product you deem so.

      To each his own. bleh.

      1. Tina says:

Nicely said…..when I read that I thought to myself the same thing.

        1. Liz says:

The shelves would be empty if we read all the ingredients on every container in the supermarket. So, a bit of Nutella won’t hurt us every now and then. there are a few sugar-rich products in my counter, and Nutella is one of them, and we love it in our home, but we are still considered to be quite conscious of what we eat. We eat responsibly with a happy binge now and again! :)
I also love the history behind Nutella and how Mr. Ferrero fed people during WW2.
I can’t wait to try Rasa Malaysia’s recipe!! It sounds divine!!!

  6. Jayne @ Tenacious Tinkering says:

This beauty… I have made this very same one before and loved it so much (psst: I ate 1/2 of the cheesecake over the span of 1 week). Must make it again in small portions.

  7. Sandy says:

Do u use an electric hand mixer to make this mini cheesecake?

    1. Rasa Malaysia says:

You can beat and mix with hand but I used a stand mixer on very low speed on this recipe. You can use hand mixer.

After the cream cheese is beat smoothly on low speed, then add Nutella and just blend in, until just combined, on low speed.

  8. Miryam says:

Careful!!! Chopped hazelnuts for a 3 year old are very, very dangerous because the child could choke. Nuts should always be turn into powder.

    1. Nunya says:

Might as well not feed them at all, since they can choke on literally anything!

  9. Shila Das says:

I use digestives biscuits or Marie biscuits

  10. Karen says:

Can you tell me what graham crackers are please
